The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, along with collaborating with a dynamic healthcare team to enhance patient care. You'll play a crucial role in educating patients about their health and promoting wellness within the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency medical situations.
• Stay current with medical research and advancements.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to enhance care delivery.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior medical staff.
• Engage with patients and their families to build trust and confidence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine
• Further training in a specialty is preferred

Experience

• Experience in emergency care or urgent care is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Emergency response
• Medication management

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual abilities: Fluency in other South African languages is advantageous.
• Participation in community health programs: Experience in outreach or community health initiatives preferred.
