Assembler and Fabricator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Assembler and Fabricator to join our growing team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production and modification of various machinery and packaging equipment, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble components for canning machinery and systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Support other team members with task completion as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on assembly experience.

Technical Skills

• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time management

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Xhosa is an advantage.
