UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating user-centric designs that are not only visually appealing but also functional. You will work closely with our developers and product managers to create optimal user interfaces and enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on user interfaces based on analytics and user testing results.
• Work within established brand guidelines while developing new user experiences.
• Assist in the creation of marketing material that aligns with product design.
• Facilitate design critiques and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Lead workshops to gather user requirements and expectations.
• Support product launches by ensuring user interfaces are aligned with business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in creating engaging user interfaces

Technical Skills

• InVision
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of accessibility standards: Knowledge of WCAG standards for web accessibility.
• Experience with user testing methodologies: Ability to facilitate user testing sessions and gather insights.
