Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Electrical Engineer in Cape Town. This role involves working closely with project managers to deliver top-quality electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with local regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects from conception through completion.
• Evaluate and introduce new engineering technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Create and manage project budgets and timelines.
• Work with contractors to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Create technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Optimize electrical systems for sustainability and efficiency.
• Maintaining high-quality documentation for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
