Responsibilities

• Develop travel proposals and quotes for clients.

• Manage the booking process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy.
• Attend travel expos and trade shows to network and learn.
• Utilize travel booking software to manage itineraries.
• Engage in continual learning about new travel destinations and services.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Travel and Tourism is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a travel consultancy role

Technical Skills

• Travel Booking Software
• GDS Systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre)

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Travel and Tourism Qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with social media marketing: Ability to promote travel packages through social media channels.
• Knowledge of local attractions in Eastern Cape: Familiarity with local tourist attractions to enhance client recommendations.
