Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team in Cape Town. You will play a critical role in providing care, guidance, and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment. Your communication skills and ability to connect with children will be essential in promoting their development.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Supervise outdoor and indoor play activities.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
• Observe individual needs and adapt activities accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents about children's experiences.
• Work collaboratively with staff to enhance program delivery.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Qualified ECD practitioner preferred

Experience

• Experience in a childcare setting is beneficial

Certifications

• First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Work experience in a nursery or preschool: Hands-on experience working in a nursery or preschool environment.
