Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of mechanical design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics, and will work on a variety of exciting projects aimed at improving efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with prescriptions.
• Assist in patient consultations and follow-up care.
• Support pharmacy operations through effective communication with suppliers.
• Engage in community outreach programs related to health and wellness.
• Participate in pharmacy management meetings to contribute ideas.
• Conduct patient counseling on proper medication usage.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and report any concerns.
• Assist in regulatory compliance audits and inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting

• Pharmacy Software

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
