Responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Assess risk management practices and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports and deliver findings to management and clients.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
• Monitor and review internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
• Support the planning and execution of audit assignments.
• Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, etc.) are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in auditing or accounting

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis
• Risk Assessment

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly regarded

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of taxation regulations: Understanding of South African taxation laws and their implications.
