Job Description

As a Mining Engineer at Top Mining Company, your primary focus will be to develop and implement mining plans and strategies that maximise resources while adhering to strict safety standards. You will be instrumental in evaluating the feasibility of new mining operations and leading projects to optimise performance and mitigate environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mining projects.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
• Provide technical support to the operations team.
• Conduct training sessions for team members on safety and operational procedures.
• Review and approve technical documentation related to mining operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Contribute to the development of sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for mining projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining operations
