Textile Knitting and Weaving Machine Setter/Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Knitter Operator to join our production team. The Knitter Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced knitting machines to create high-quality knitted fabrics, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of knitting machines according to production schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and fix defects.
• Perform minor repairs on knitting machines as needed.
• Document any maintenance or operational issues in the log.
• Ensure that all raw materials are loaded correctly onto machines.
• Create various fabric designs as per customer specifications.
• Support the Quality Control team in monitoring fabric quality.
• Engage actively in team meetings to discuss production strategies.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in the development of new knitting techniques and practices.
