Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our dedicated QA team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our software products meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing of software products.
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Trace test cases back to the requirements.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and QA meetings.
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
• Generate test reports and present results to the QA Manager.
• Help define and implement QA processes and best practices.
• Escalate issues to higher management when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during testing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certification in Quality Assurance is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing
