Job Description

As a Retail Manager at Leading Retail Group in Durban, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff, and ensure a high standard of customer service. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales and implementing strategies to enhance store performance. You will also be responsible for inventory management and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of store operations and staff management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Drive a culture of customer service excellence across the team.
• Identify market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Maintain high standards for retail presentations and merchandising.
• Plan and oversee store events and promotional activities.
• Monitor competitor activities and share insights with the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Retail Management or Business Management
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a retail or managerial position

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with POS systems: Experience working with various point-of-sale systems.
