Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Retail Manager to oversee our Cape Town branch. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, foster an engaging atmosphere for both staff and customers, and ensure that retail operations run smoothly to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence within the store while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff, enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Evaluate and optimize stock levels, ensuring timely product availability.
  • Implement effective training programs for staff to foster a knowledgeable sales team.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings with the team to align goals and discuss progress.
  • Engage in visual merchandising to promote sales and enhance store appearance.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for cost reduction and growth.
  • Ensure that the store complies with safety and health regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Retail Management or related field
  • Additional certifications in management are preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a retail environment with at least 2 years in a managerial role
