Legal Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Advisor to join our team in Cape Town. You will provide essential legal support, draft contracts, and ensure compliance with South African laws. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law and excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft legal documents to mitigate risks.
• Advise management on legal and regulatory issues.
• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters.
• Monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Help develop company policies and procedures.
• Engage in negotiations with stakeholders.
• Prepare and present legal reports to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• LLM or additional legal qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law
