Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our talented team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will engage in various electrical engineering projects, focusing on design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and collaborative skills to drive innovative solutions and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize electrical designs using CAD software.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Maintain documentation of engineering processes for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct performance testing and reporting of electrical systems.
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices and troubleshooting.
• Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of deadlines.
• Liaise with external vendors to acquire resources required for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering roles
