User Experience Researcher

Job Description

Join our innovative team as a User Experience Researcher based in Durban. You will lead user research initiatives, analyze user data, and collaborate with the design team to create compelling user experiences. This role involves both qualitative and quantitative research methods to guide product design.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research initiatives to drive product design.
• Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive user interfaces.
• Identify pain points and areas for improvement in user journeys.
• Gather and analyze feedback from users post-launch.
• Document research processes and results for future reference.
• Educate team members on best practices in UX research.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a UX research role

• User Testing

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of A/B testing practices: Experience in conducting A/B tests and analyzing results for design improvements.
• Understanding of mobile-first design principles: Experience in designing for mobile applications and responsive web design.
