Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee our projects in Cape Town. You will play a key role in managing construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of construction safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily on-site operations and manage teams.
  • Assess work progress and prepare written reports for management.
  • Establish and enforce site rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers on planning and execution.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Monitor financial expenditures and resource utilization.
  • Work to resolve conflicts and expedite work flow.
  • Conduct safety meetings and maintain incident logs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement among crew.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Construction Management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years experience in site supervision
