Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee various projects in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. You will collaborate with subcontractors, architects, and clients throughout the project's lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project meetings and documentation.
  • Prepare reports on construction progress and budget forecasts.
  • Evaluate materials and equipment for quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential project delays.
  • Collaborate with design teams on project specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor compliance and safety measures.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with subcontractors.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in managing construction projects
