Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Urban Planner to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you’ll develop urban planning projects that promote sustainability and community engagement, contributing to the city’s development goals.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze urban trends to inform policy recommendations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Draft and review planning regulations and guidelines.
• Advocate for sustainable practices in urban development.
• Evaluate and assess project proposals and their impact on the community.
• Develop visual presentations to illustrate urban design concepts.
• Foster positive relationships with community members and government officials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s in Urban Planning or Environmental Studies
• Certification in Urban Design preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in urban development or related field
