Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will oversee property management operations, ensuring high occupancy rates, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with management policies. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of property management to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensure that properties are well-maintained and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to tenant issues and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage financial transactions, including rent collection and budget management.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including landlords and tenants.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving property performance.
  • Stay updated with local real estate trends and market conditions.
  • Train and supervise property management staff.
  • Conduct lease renewals and maintain related documentation.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses to promote the property.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification or certification in property management is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in property management
