Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive optimal pharmaceutical care, including dispensing medications, consulting with patients about their prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret patient medication needs and drug interactions.
• Implement medication therapy management plans.
• Supervise pharmacy interns and support staff.
• Evaluate the impact of treatments and make recommendations.
• Ensure effective stock control and expired product management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in Clinical Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital setting

• Medication therapy management

Certifications

• Advanced Pharmacotherapy Certification
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Basic
