We are searching for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will design and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems. Candidates should have a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to deploy models effectively, contributing to innovative projects that harness AI to create value.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative AI solutions from concept to deployment.
• Analyze system performance and recommend system enhancements.
• Actively participate in the agile development process.
• Continually evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance model performance.
• Facilitate collaborative project meetings to align team efforts.
• Draft technical articles and papers for industry publications.
• Integrate machine learning solutions with existing systems.
• Use cloud resources efficiently for model training and deployment.
• Maintain a high standard of code quality through best practices.
• Generate technical documentation for machine learning models.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree in Machine Learning or AI is advantageous

• 5+ years of experience in AI-related projects
