As a Pharmacist with our Leading Pharmacy Group in Durban, you will play a crucial role in dispensing medications, advising patients on health matters, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be key in ensuring that community members receive effective and safe pharmaceutical care. This role requires a focus on customer service and adherence to the highest standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately to patients and advise on proper medication usage.
• Provide drug information and medication-related advice to healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure optimum drug therapy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in all pharmacy operations.
• Maintain effective inventory control for pharmaceuticals and products.
• Assist in counselling patients on health and wellness-related matters.
• Conduct health screenings and wellness checks when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in pharmacy or health education are a plus.

Experience

• Experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
