We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles, and will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical devices and systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) for design validation.
• Conduct root cause analysis to mitigate engineering discrepancies.
• Implement process improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Work with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct training sessions on mechanical engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
