Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to enhance our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll engage in the design and development of mechanical systems and lead projects from initial concept to final implementation.

Responsibilities

• The Mechanical Engineer will engage in designing and analyzing mechanical systems for various applications.
• Conduct simulations and testing of designs under different conditions.
• Work closely with clients to understand their mechanical engineering needs.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Maintain project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
