Job Description

As a Surveyor in our firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects throughout Cape Town. You will be responsible for surveying land, calculating terrain and coordinates, and contributing to project plans. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys and inspections.
  • Collect and interpret data on land characteristics.
  • Document and present survey findings to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams on larger developments.
  • Review existing survey records and legal plans.
  • Identify and mitigate survey-related risks.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is up to date and operational.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in geospatial data collection and analysis
