Factory Floor Supervisor - Pretoria - Process Engineering

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Factory Floor Supervisor with experience in process engineering to lead our Pretoria operations. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to manage a team, improve production workflows, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing processes and ensure production targets are met.
• Manage workforce scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Implement and promote a culture of safety and compliance on the factory floor.
• Track and analyze production metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Facilitate communication between teams to enhance coordination and workflow.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff for skill development.
• Act as a liaison between upper management and factory personnel.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Certification in Production Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
