Job Description

The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing strategic financial insights to our clients. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure financial procedures are adhered to and contribute to the firm's growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Compile financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist clients in understanding reports and financial results.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and enhance financial performance.
• Work with other departments to optimise financial operations.
• Participate in strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying new opportunities for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the accounting field

Technical Skills

• Taxation Laws
• Audit Experience

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a Consulting Role: Experience providing financial consulting services to clients.
