Job Description

As a Water Resource Specialist, you will be responsible for preserving and enhancing the management of water resources. This role involves conducting assessments, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of water resources and infrastructure.
• Engage with community stakeholders to promote water conservation initiatives.
• Compile and analyze data related to water quality and availability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance water management strategies.
• Optimize water resource allocation and usage efficiency.
• Document compliance with environmental standards and legislative requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on sustainable water practices.
• Lead fieldwork activities including monitoring and data collection.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects addressing water-related challenges.
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies concerning water issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Water Resource Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in water resource management or environmental consulting
