Responsibilities

• Conduct grooming services for a variety of breeds and sizes of pets.
• Handle pets with care, ensuring they are calm and comfortable.
• Keep grooming area sterile and organized at all times.
• Communicate with pet owners to discuss grooming options and aftercare.
• Provide recommendations for pet care products and services.
• Manage appointments and maintain a schedule for grooming sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Work collaboratively with team members to improve service delivery.
• Assist in training junior grooming staff as needed.
• Develop a rapport with clients to encourage repeat business.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pet grooming certification or diploma preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of pet grooming experience
