As an Event Planner at Event Masters Ltd., you will oversee the entire event process, from initial concept to final execution. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and management of events from conception to execution.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
• Draft event proposals and present to clients for approval.
• Prepare and manage the budget and ensure all costs are accounted for.
• Create promotional materials and manage event marketing strategies.
• Oversee on-site logistics during events and provide support as needed.
• Monitor industry trends to propose innovative event ideas.
• Facilitate post-event evaluations and make recommendations for improvements.
• Supervise event staff and delegate tasks for efficient operations.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the event process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Masters in Event Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in high-profile event planning

Technical Skills

• Social Media Marketing
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
• Associate in Project Management (APM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
