Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication management, advising patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding their medications.
• Track and manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals.
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of stock.
• Implement pharmacy policies and procedures effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Advanced diplomas or certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a community pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Medication Therapy Management
• Clinical Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem Resolution
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist in South Africa
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment: Ability to work effectively in a busy pharmacy setting.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is advantageous.
