Job Description

As an Event Operations Planner, you will play a crucial role in the conception, planning, and execution of various events. You must have exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure. You will liaise with clients and vendors to ensure successful events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of event proposals and budgets.
• Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place.
• Create event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors throughout the event planning process.
• Monitor event proceedings to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Prepare reports and presentation materials post-event for client debriefings.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Event planning certifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in event management

Technical Skills

• Event management software
• Catering and logistics coordination

Certifications

• Event Planning Specialist Certificate
• Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)
