We are on the lookout for a Civil Engineer to become a vital part of our Sandton-based team. The ideal candidate will take charge of designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. The role also includes collaborating with architects, contractors, and urban planners to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects. You will need to balance technical expertise with effective communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical aspects of civil engineering projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids.
• Implement project management practices for successful delivery.
• Collaborate with the environmental teams on sustainability practices.
• Assist in the mentoring and training of junior engineers.
• Represent the company at industry meetings and forums.
• Conduct regular safety audits on project sites.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Management or Engineering is preferable

Experience

• Proven track record with 7+ years of experience in the civil engineering sector
