We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. With a focus on innovative civil engineering projects, you will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and implementing infrastructure developments. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from road construction to water management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on project execution.
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support project design.
• Assist in contract management and procurement processes.
• Direct and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Participate in community consultations regarding project impact.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Quality Assurance

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Negotiation skills

Certifications

• Professional Engineering (PrEng) registration
• SACPCMP registration is beneficial

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of South African construction codes and standards: Deep understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with site management and supervision: Hands-on experience managing construction sites.
