Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to support our exciting engineering projects in Johannesburg. In this role, you will apply your expertise to design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems, contribute to feasibility studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering calculations and simulations for mechanical designs.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards and practices.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of engineering problems.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and health and safety protocols.
• Foster a collaborative team environment for engineering excellence.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant engineering experience

Languages

• English: Fluent
