Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Manager to oversee our ongoing projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing construction teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will play a pivotal role in orchestrating project schedules and liaising with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule project timelines reflecting project objectives.
  • Monitor progress and adjust schedules and plans as needed.
  • Manage procurement of materials and services required for construction.
  • Resolve any conflicts or disagreements among team members.
  • Evaluate contractor performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Report project status to upper management on a regular basis.
  • Champion sustainable practices within construction processes.
  • Ensure that all work complies with local and national building codes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale project management
