Job Description

We seek a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and support clients in navigating their mental health challenges. The successful candidate will have a passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth psychological assessments.
  • Create and implement evidence-based treatment strategies.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups that promote healing and growth.
  • Keep detailed clinical documentation and treatment logs.
  • Engage in case management and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies and skills.
  • Conduct community outreach to enhance mental health education.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or similar qualification
  • Doctorate in Psychology is a plus
Experience
  • At least 4 years of clinical practice in mental health services
