Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Research Consultant to join our innovative team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in medical research methodologies, regulatory affairs, and clinical trial management. You will play a pivotal role in driving forward our research projects, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, and liaising with key stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in executing research initiatives in compliance with ethical standards.
  • Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on the development of research proposals and protocols.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze research data.
  • Actively participate in departmental strategy meetings.
  • Prepare presentations for both internal and external audiences.
  • Mentor and develop junior researchers within the team.
  • Monitor project progress and manage timelines.
  • Foster relationships with academic and clinical partners.
  • Aid in the operational management of research activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's in Public Health or related field
  • PhD is a major plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
