Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist in Johannesburg, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will assess and implement treatment plans that enhance patients' abilities to perform daily activities, ensuring their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to identify areas requiring intervention.
• Create therapeutic activities that enhance patients’ physical and cognitive skills.
• Provide support to patients in a range of settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Lead group therapy sessions to foster social skills and peer interaction.
• Stay informed of the latest occupational therapy practices and advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in occupational therapy is highly desirable
