Job Description

We are in search of skilled Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our manufacturing team. This role entails the operation and maintenance of machine tools used in the finishing process of metal and plastic components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for operation, including calibration and tool changes.
• Monitor the grinding and polishing processes for efficiency.
• Implement improvements to machining processes based on observations.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels for materials and tools.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field
• Trade qualifications in machining are highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector
