Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will play a critical role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in stone finishing, ensuring safe and efficient workflow while aiming for excellent quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire sanding process, ensuring machines are functioning efficiently.
  • Conduct quality inspections on workpieces continually throughout the shift.
  • Report any non-conformance or defects in products to the production supervisor.
  • Follow company policies and local regulations for safety and health.
  • Maintain an organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Assist with inventory counts of raw materials and finished goods as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
  • Train and mentor juniors in machine operations and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards relating to waste management.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus
Experience
  • Experience in stoneworking or related manufacturing fields is highly valued.
