We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and components for various engineering projects, contributing to innovative solutions that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical systems to improve functionality and performance.
• Participate in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components.
• Utilize data analysis to enhance design processes and outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest engineering trends and technologies in the mechanical field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of engineering experience with a focus on mechanical systems

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
