Job Description

The Street Cleaning Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining street cleaning machinery to ensure thorough cleaning of streets, sidewalks, and public areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating such equipment and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive street cleaning vehicles and maintain operational logs.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on cleaning equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local waste disposal regulations.
• Report equipment issues and damages promptly.
• Coordinate with other cleaning staff on daily operations.
• Follow city regulations for cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions.
• Assist in community clean-up events as required.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and maintenance performed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience operating street cleaning equipment is highly advantageous.
