Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing presentation materials, and supporting senior bankers in deal execution. This role requires strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of market trends.

Responsibilities

• Support senior bankers in the execution of financial transactions.
• Draft detailed investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with clients to gather data for analyses.
• Continuously update financial models to reflect changing market conditions.
• Attend meetings and assist in strategic discussions with clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
• MBA is an added benefit

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking or management consulting

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel
• PowerPoint Presentations

Soft Skills

• Detail-Oriented
• Team Player

Certifications

• CFA or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent
