Job Description

We are seeking skilled Multiple Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating spiral bevel gear machinery, reading blueprints, and using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine controls.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guide and mentor junior operators where applicable.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma in machining preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience setting up and operating similar machinery

Technical Skills

• CAM software
• Lean manufacturing principles

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic

Certifications

• CNC programming certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with advanced CNC machinery: Hands-on experience with setting up and operating complex CNC machines.
• Familiarity with advanced CAM software: Knowledge of advanced CAM software for operational efficiency.
