Job Description

As a Legal Advisor, you will offer expert legal guidance on various matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and assisting in legal strategy formulation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal risks and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate various types of agreements.
• Provide guidance on regulatory matters impacting business operations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align legal strategies with business goals.
• Evaluate legal implications of business decisions.
• Prepare and review legal documents and reports.
• Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Serve as a point of contact for all legal inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or LLM preferred
• Specialized courses in Corporate Law an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of legal advisory experience

Technical Skills

• Regulatory Compliance
• Corporate Governance

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• SA Legal Practice Council Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in tax law: Knowledge of tax implications in corporate transactions.
