Job Description

As a Locksmith and Safe Repairer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and safes to ensure the security of clients' properties. Your expertise will play a critical role in providing effective solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new security solutions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Educate customers on maintaining their security systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Manage time efficiently to handle multiple service calls.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Locksmithing apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in locksmithing and safe repair

Technical Skills

• Safe opening and repair
• Electronic locking systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Safe Technician (CST)
• Driver's License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Skills in electronic and digital locks: Experience working with smart locks and electronic access systems.
• Project Management skills: Ability to manage projects involving lock installations and repairs.
