Job Description

We are seeking diligent Weighers, Measurers, Checkers, and Samplers to coordinate and optimize our inventory management practices. You will be responsible for ensuring all inventory movements are tracked accurately while maintaining high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock checks and manage stock rotations based on sell-by dates.
• Enhance inventory accuracy through timely updates and reporting.
• Coordinate with logistics for efficient stock transfers between locations.
• Assist in training new team members on inventory management practices.
• Utilize inventory management software effectively to maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during inventory processes.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management.
• Investigate and report on inventory variances and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Inventory Management or related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in inventory control or related fields.

Technical Skills

• RFID Technology
• ERP Systems

• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Ability to speak multiple languages: Fluency in languages like Zulu or Afrikaans will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of supply chain management principles: Knowledge of principles affecting inventory from suppliers to customers.
