Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Hospital Pharmacist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will ensure the safe and effective use of medications, provide valuable pharmaceutical consultations, and work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct medication reviews and adjustments based on patient needs.
  • Advise on drug interactions and therapeutic alternatives.
  • Participate in pain management and palliative care planning.
  • Guide on the preparation of sterile compounding and IV medications.
  • Develop and deliver educational sessions for staff and patients.
  • Engage in research activities to improve pharmaceutical care.
  • Assist in the management of pharmacy budgets and resources.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage procurement of medications.
  • Participate in patient safety initiatives and report quality concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient medication records and profiles.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy within hospital settings
